On August 27th, 1943 Herman Broecker married Gunda Buermeyer. The film was shot by Herman's brother, Hans Broecker, who later became a successful director/cameraman in Hollywood, California.

What makes this film remarkable is that it captures some of the earliest moving images of our ancestors. It is also one of the earliest films capturing the original Buer farm where we all originated through our lineages.
